FAQs
Where do you ship from, and how fast?
All orders ship from our warehouse in Tallinn, Estonia, within 1–3 business days. Delivery takes roughly 1–8 business days depending on where you are.
What does shipping cost?
Europe: GLS parcel €10 (4–6 working days) or DHL Express €20 (1–4 working days). Finland: Posti from €5 (3–5 working days). Rest of the world: DHL Express €20 (1–4 working days). Full details on our Shipping & Handling page.
Will I pay customs or import duties?
Inside the EU: No, outside the EU, import duties and local taxes are not included in your order and are collected by the carrier on delivery. Please check your country's rates before ordering.
Do you ship to the UK?
Yes, but due to Brexit rules only orders over £135 / €165, and UK VAT and duties are payable by you on arrival. Our UK stockists are a duty-free alternative, see Retailers.
My package never arrived or I missed the pick-up window, what happens?
Unclaimed packages carry a €19 handling fee, and undeliverable parcels (wrong address, missed pick-up) are refunded minus delivery and return-courier costs. Double-check your address at checkout, and collect promptly. Carriers don't always notify you.
Can I return my order?
Yes, within 14 days. Full-price items: refund or store credit. Sale items: store credit. Items must be unworn, with tags, in original packaging (and always tried on over underwear). Full policy: Exchanges & Returns.
How do I make a return?
Email hello@ohoyswim.com with your order number or receipt. Once your item reaches us, your refund or credit is issued within 2–3 business days.
Who pays return shipping?
You arrange and pay return shipping please use a tracked service, as the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. Original shipping costs aren't refundable.
How do exchanges work?
Return your item as above, and we send you a free-shipping code for the new order so you never pay shipping twice on an exchange.
Why do you only offer store credit for sales items shipped outside the EU?
These are our most loved pieces, offered at their final price so they can find a new home. EU customers retain their statutory right of withdrawal. Outside the EU, all Archive Sale items are final sale. We kindly ask that you double-check your size before ordering or ask us at hello@ohoyswim.com!
Which size should I choose?
Our Size Guide has body measurements and US/UK conversions for S–XL. Between two sizes or unsure about a specific style? Email hello@ohoyswim.com we answer sizing questions daily and know every cut.
Do all styles fit the same?
Most do, but a few run slightly differently. The product page notes it when they do.
What is your swimwear made of?
Regenerated ECONYL® nylon made in Italy from nylon waste such as discarded carpets, industrial plastic, and a small share of recovered fishing nets. Our Yulex® spring suits use FSC-certified natural rubber instead of neoprene. More on our Ethics & Sustainability page.

How do I care for my swimwear?
(confirm before publishing) Rinse in cold fresh water after each use, hand wash with mild soap when needed, dry flat in the shade. Avoid tumble drying, hot water, and rough surfaces that's what keeps your pieces beautiful for years.
Where is OHOY made?
Most pieces are sewn at a small family-owned factory in Portugal. Our Sunshine Hats are made by Mr Ajith's workshop in Sri Lanka, and our Yulex® suits by a specialist wetsuit manufacturer. You can read more about on our story, ethics & sustainability pages.
