Because we believe fashion can do better. And so can we.
OHOY swim was founded 2016 by two Scandinavians living far from home, where the desert meets the sea. Henna and Anna created OHOY for everyday girls like them, to wear both on land and in the water.
With a focus on Scandinavian simplicity & a responsibility to look after the environment, all OHOY products are made sustainably and ethically.
All pieces in the collections are made with 100% ECONYL® yarn coming fromdiscarded nylons including fishing nets collected from the sea. We only use fabrics/ linings that are regenerated.
Econyl works with organizations such as Healthy sea’s, a none profit founded by Aquafil. All these fishing nets are collected by volunteer divers and then sent to Aquafil’s Slovenian regeneration plant.
When purchasing our item, you are giving back to Healthy Seas. 1% of OHOY sales goes to support the recovery of nets by volunteer divers.
OHOY products are tested in real-life conditions, our swimwear is twice as resistant to chlorine, sun creams, and oils than most other fabrics. And best of all, they are made to stay put and beautiful, no matter what.
Our collaborative team works hard to ensure only the highest of quality, whilst working within fair & friendly working conditions. All our manufacturing is done in a small family-owned factory in Sri Lanka, and we spend extended periods of time with the staff during production to make sure the working conditions are as they should be.
We don't believe in swimwear seasons, we believe in adventures around the year.
