Sizing & Fit

Everyone is so different and swimwear is not always easy.
We have made a general size guide that we believe is the most accurate.

The blond girl wearing the Blue Anika top with Lola bottoms and gold earrings is 1.75 cm tall. She is wearing size M.

The dark-haired girl in the Blue Stripe top and bottoms is also wearing size M.

The tall red-haired girl in the stripe top and bottoms is wearing size S.

Additionally, the blond girl with the Hazy pink sunshine hat is also wearing size S.

Solid Colours: 

  • Outer lining made from ECONYL® is a polyamide yarn with the same performance & quality as virgin nylon.
  • Inner lining is a high performance, body adaptive OEKO-TEX® fabric specifically designed to be invisible, provide comfort, flexibility and complete freedom of movement. This fabric is a GRS certified recycled high performance polyamide yarn.
  • Double layer of Vita 78% Recycled Nylon / 22% Elastane.

Blue Stripe: 

  • Inner lining made from ECONYL® is a polyamide yarn with the same performance & quality as virgin nylon.
  • Outer lining is a high performance, body adaptive OEKO-TEX® and certified GRS recycled high performance polyamide yarn.
  • Outer 84% Recycled Polyester / 16% Elastane. Lining 80% recycled Polyamide / 20% Elastane.

OHOY SWIM was created to offer an alternative: sustainable swimwear that helps protect the ocean, land and air, rather than contribute to its further destruction.

  • 8 million tons of waste end up in our seas every single year.
  • 640 thousand tons of fishing nets are abandoned at the bottom of the ocean each year.
  • Each year millions of marine animals are injured and killed by ghost nets.
  • Unless the situation changes, by 2050 our seas may contain more garbage than fish (data sourced from FAO and UNEP).

To address this problem we use ECONYL® yarn - a polyamide yarn with the same performance and quality as virgin nylon without having been produced with the use of non-renewable fossil raw materials.

ECONYL® yarn is a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, industrial plastic, and other plastic waste products. Instead of ending up in the landfill or the ocean these waste products are recovered and regenerated.
