Peach & Indigo are made from a beautiful towel-like fabric from ECONYL®. It's soft to touch with a stretchy textured surface and lined with our supporting OEKO-TEX® recycled lining for comfort.
Blue Stripe is composed of OEKO-TEX® certified Global Recycled Standard recycled nylon and our normal inner lining of ECONYL®, a luxury Italian fabric composed of regenerated plastic and fishing nets collected from the sea.
Blue Assoluto is made from ECONYL®, a luxury Italian fabric composed of regenerated plastic and fishing nets collected from the sea. The lining is an OEKO-TEX® high quality recycled polyamide - certified Global Recycled Standard.

  • Inner lining is a high performance, body adaptive OEKO-TEX® fabric specifically designed to be invisible, provide comfort, flexibility and complete freedom of movement. This fabric is a GRS certified recycled high performance polyamide yarn. 
  • Outer 78% Recycled Nylon / 22 % Elastane. Lining 80% recycled Polyamide / 20% Elastane.

Blue Stripe: 

  • Inner lining made from ECONYL® is a polyamide yarn with the same performance & quality as virgin nylon.
  • Outer lining is a high performance, body adaptive OEKO-TEX® and certified GRS recycled high performance polyamide yarn.
  • Outer 84% Recycled Polyester / 16% Elastane. Lining 80% recycled Polyamide / 20% Elastane.

  • Inner lining is a high performance, body adaptive OEKO-TEX® fabric specifically designed to be invisible, provide comfort, flexibility and complete freedom of movement. This fabric is a GRS certified recycled high performance polyamide yarn. 
  • Outer 85% Recycled Polyamide / 15% Elastane. Lining 80% recycled Polyamide / 20% Elastane.

OHOY SWIM was created to offer an alternative: sustainable swimwear that helps protect the ocean, land and air, rather than contribute to its further destruction.

  • 8 million tons of waste end up in our seas every single year.
  • 640 thousand tons of fishing nets are abandoned at the bottom of the ocean each year.
  • Each year millions of marine animals are injured and killed by ghost nets.
  • Unless the situation changes, by 2050 our seas may contain more garbage than fish (data sourced from FAO and UNEP).

To address this problem we use ECONYL® yarn - a polyamide yarn with the same performance and quality as virgin nylon without having been produced with the use of non-renewable fossil raw materials.

ECONYL® yarn is a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, industrial plastic, and other plastic waste products. Instead of ending up in the landfill or the ocean these waste products are recovered and regenerated.
